How we collect, use and protect the personal data you share with us through this website.

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through chartarchitects.com is CHART Architects (principal: Irini Asimakopoulou), CHART Architects, 3rd km Korinthos-Patras Highway, Ancient Port of Corinth (Kantare Beach), 20100, Corinth, GR.

2. Data we collect

Contact form. When you use the form, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of project you are interested in and the content of your message.

Email or phone. When you contact us directly, we process the details and information you provide.

Technical data. Like any web server, the server hosting this website records technical details of visits (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type), solely for the operation and security of the website.

Visitor statistics. Only if you accept them in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used (pages viewed, visit duration, device type, approximate region). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

The website does not use advertising networks or social media pixels.

3. Purpose and legal basis

  • Replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposal: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent when submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Carrying out an agreed project: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Tax and accounting obligations, where applicable: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Security and proper operation of the website: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Visitor statistics: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006), which you can withdraw at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

We do not use your data for marketing and we do not send newsletters without your explicit consent.

4. Recipients

Your data is not sold or passed to third parties for their own purposes. Access is limited to:

  • the website hosting provider and the email provider, as processors, solely for the technical operation of their services;
  • Google Ireland Limited, as processor for Google Analytics 4, only if you have given consent. Data may be transferred to the United States to Google LLC, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework;
  • project partners (for example engineers and contractors), only if a project is agreed and only as far as necessary;
  • public authorities, where required by law.

5. Retention

Form messages and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to reply and for any resulting project, and in any case no longer than two years after the last contact, unless a project follows. In that case the data is kept for as long as tax and other legislation requires. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security reasons. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

6. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).

7. Security

The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

8. Third-party links

The "Directions" link opens Google Maps in a new tab. The website does not embed maps; processing by Google starts only if you follow the link and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
